From 8 years old through college. Younger players can learn proper mechanics as they develop. However, it is never too late too improve your technique.

Some players take lessons most of the year. They feel like a 30 minute session and a 20 minute recovery workout once a week while playing other sports helps them achieve their maximum efficiency. Others start a few months before their season begins. Students with a large workload of innings should take a break from throwing once a year. We then work on strength training and mirror mechanical work.

Proper mechanics help you stay healthy and building body strength in a safe way reduces your stress. Both of these also contribute in a major way to your pitching and hitting success.

First and most important you need to learn how to pitch. Location, movement, command of off speed, and consistency are all critical in reaching your maximum potential. In addition to teaching all of these we do core velocity belts, strength training, long toss, and some weighted ball training.
